Poster Presentation
Guidelines on Poster Presentation
Poster boards will be provided for displaying your self-printed posters. Each board measures 1.8 m (W) × 1.2 m (H) and is covered with fabric suitable for push pins, which will be provided at the venue.
Details regarding your assigned poster board number will be posted on our website in early- to mid- November.
As the posters will be viewed from a distance of approximately 3 feet or more, please ensure that all text is at least 3/8 inch high.
A sample poster layout is provided below; however, you are welcome to use an alternative layout if preferred.
FAQs
1. What will be the presentation language?
The default presentation language is English. However, presentations allow for interactive, informal discussions between presenters and attendees. You are welcome to communicate in any language as long as both parties are comfortable.
2. Can I set up my poster in advance and leave it on the poster board after the presentation period (12:00–13:30)?
You are welcome to set up your poster from 10:45 am on the day of the presentation. Please remove it by 16:00 on the same day. Posters left after this time will be disposed without any further notice.
3. Is there a maximum number of presenters?
We welcome a maximum of three presenters, provided that the Secretariat (gecc@eduhk.hk) is notified in advance. Each presenter must register through our Registration Portal.
